I received an e-mail today with this sighting:
At approx 7.15 this morning, it was still dark, I was driving from albourne road and up wineham lane when I saw what I thought was a rabbit running up the middle of the road. I realised it was a small White and brown terrier / jack russell, possibly the one that went missing back in august. I have since seen the post on Horshamdogs and think it may not be the same one as their dog had black head and fur was thinly cropped however the one I saw was a little paler and had more wild hair like a terrier although had thin face like a jack russell.
Anyway the dog was scared of the headlights so I stopped the car, it started coming towards me but then ran off. I caught up with it again just after the bridge with the White railings and sat stationary with my engine and lights off. It circled the car but when I got out it ran up the drive of a nearby house called spinners wood or something like that. My husband said not to worry as it probably lived therefore but I thought I'd send u a message as when I first caught up with the dog it was quite a way down wineham lane and I was concerned it was either an old lost dog or a new lost dog
Apparently Im told he lives locally and is seen out on his own occasionally
Found a Black and White Terrier this morning in Horsham RH12 area. He is now with Hammerpond Kennels. Apparantly he is chipped, his name is Spike and he is 14 years old. But the address is London, the kennels said he could of been driven here to dump or they just haven't updated the details.
Trooper has been found and is making a good recovery
Our 11 year old black labrador jumped our garden fence on Sat 29th Oct 2011 at 7.45pm and vanished into thin air. We have since heard that he was hit by a car on the Dunsfold/ Plaistow Road [West Sussex] about 8.10pm on the same night. Despite attempts to catch him by other drivers he disappeared. He was last seen by Weald Barkfold Farm. We have no idea how badly injured he is. Despite searching for hours in the surrounding countryside there is no trace. Local farmers, keepers etc have been on the lookout. Although we fear the worst we are just hoping he has become disorientated and is lost.Trooper is a very handsome intelligent dog, very agile and fit for his years, muscular and strong.He has always been a barker and would resist going with a stranger. he is a bit bigger than average for a gun dog, grey muzzle and paws, a wart on the top of his head, microchipped but no collar at the time he went. He is a much loved part of the family and we are devastated not to know where he is. We would be grateful for any information good or bad.
Please can you keep a looking out for Harry as he is still unfound and may be in your area.
Possible sightings: Sunday 9th Cranleigh on Railway line and Monday 10th Rodborough Common Milford area.

Jack Russell missing from the Albourne/Woodmancote/Wineham area since 11am Friday 26th Aug.
He is Tri-coloured, a black patch in the shape of mickey mouses ears on his back, a black patch on his right shoulder, black across both ears & tan from his eyebrows down both sides of his face symetrically leaving a white patch down his nose, he is smooth coated with a curly tail. His name is Mickey, he is short legged. He has not been chipped & has no collar

Female JRT went escaped from her collar on Sunday 31st July in the Rustington/Littlehampton area- a day following us adopting her. The last time she was seen, she was running down toward the Worthing Road/A259 near Rustington Golf Course. We were due to get her neutered on the Monday, follow up vaccinations and microchipped. She is a very timid little girl- with new people.
I am extremely concerned for her and just want her back safe and sound.
She is white with smooth coat- half brown(left of face), half white face. Still has her dew claws.
Distinctive black lips- lower one is slightly upturned.
There'll be an article on her in the Argus tomorrow.
Please help me.

Jacana Adored family lurcher (Jacana) went missing on 12th July, near Eridge Station, East Sussex TN3.
She is white sandy coloured with a rough coat. She is approximately 23 Inches tall. She is microchipped.
Her distinguishing mark is a "v-shaped" scar on her head below her left ear.

Sasha Sasha is a female Black Labrador who escaped from her house on Valewood lane in Barns Green on Saturday 16th of March, at around 1.30pm. She is a very friendly dog and approachable if you find her. She was wearing two red collars, one with a pink heart shaped ID tag and another one. Both made of fabric. Sasha is microchipped. We are very worried about her as she has never been gone this long before. We just want her home safe!

Crawley Down-Sandhill Lane
My dog has gone missing from within our garden in Crawley Down-Sandhill Lane this Morning at 7am. Possibly stolen? She is a tiny black and tan mini Dachshund with a Sparklly collar. PLEASE let me know if you hear anything. She is only two years old and too small to breed from. She is micro-chipped.

11 years old Dark brown and white springer spaniel. His face is totally brown - he has no white stripe as a "Traditional" springer would. He has a full white tail and he's wearing a brown leather collar. He has quite long ears.
He has very little white on his body but his tail and legs are white.
He is a bit deaf and is very friendly, but scared of his own shadow!
He'll answer to Oliver or Olly
Microchipped but not tagged.

November 13th 2010My dog went missing today (13th Nov) from our house
She managed to open the front door while she was left on her own (I think the fireworks may have spooked her). We came home to find the front door open and she had disappeared. She is a 4 and a half year old Whippet/Staffy female dog. Dark brindle in colour (brown/black). She is neutered and microchipped but unfortunately she isn't wearing her collar.

Chelsea I live in Rudgwick my dog was frightened by the dustman and ran out, she has been spotted a few times on the downs Link at Rudgwick, it has been a week now since she went missing, Chelsea is a browny black jack russell she is 13 yrs old went missing at 10 am on the 10th March, we miss her very much please help if you can to find this dog
****RE-UNITED**** October 24th 2009 Found at vets October 23rd 2009 Daisy Daisy is a ten year old Airedale Terrier who went missing last night (Friday) about 5.30 on the 23rd of October 2009. She was on a familiar walk through the woods opposite Grebe Crescent when she ran off. She has been known to chase deer but ALWAYS comes back. She is black and tan and small for her breed she is also spayed. She is very friendly and could be quite frightened. We are missing her very much

July 1st 2009 Woody Our treasured pet Jack Russell called ‘Woody’ went missing last Wednesday 1st July 2009 in Madehurst, Near Arundel West Sussex whilst at work with his Dad. He is black and tan and was wearing a red collar with a green tag to show he has been microchipped. There have been many people out looking for him, but to no avail. We are all heartbroken, especially my pregnant daughter. He is very friendly and loves people. We have a reward out for him for £500 for his safe return. Many thanks,

Gone missing today - Sunday - In Barns Green, Horsham.
---------- Twinkle is an adult female Pomeranian who escaped from our house in Saltbox Close, Barns Green on Sunday noon 8th of March. She is Ginger in color, has small pointy ears and a full curled tail. She is also completely deaf so therefore won't respond to her name. She is friendly with people and approachable if you find her. She was not wearing a collar when she went missing but is microchipped. We are very worried about her and my daughter is distraught as she's loved dearly. December 24th, 2008 Charlie Charlie is a Chocolate Brown small, lean, Lab-cross and quite old (15
years), she is losing her eyesight and does not know the area.
At around 9am this morning (24/12/08) she got out of the house and went down
Victory Road (we live at number 32), towards Rushams Road.
We have been searching all morning and enlisted the help of Animal Services,
but so far with no result.

****RE-UNITED**** November 7th, 2008 ESME ESME an adult female Tri (Black, White & Tan) Bernese Mountain Dog missing from the Henfield area in West Sussex area since 24th October 2008 was sighted 5th November in the Hop Oast area of Horsham, but evaded capture. She was last seen heading South West possibly in the direction of Southwater. She has ID on her.
