| HENFIELD BY THE RIVER | Walking Henfield by the river. Park in the car park by the downs link at Henfield. Head down the disused railway line until you reach the river. Turn left onto the path that goes alongside the water, this path sometimes goes through sheep fields and swans can be anywhere , so be careful. You will eventually rejoin the downs link, turn left, after about a mile you will pass though houses and shortly after will emerge onto a road. Turn right then almost immediately left, not far and you will turn left this takes you back to car park
