 PEASLAKE
I call this walk Peaslake as this is the nearest village, but it is really in the middle of nowhere on the north downs. There are two ponds at either end of the main path for dogs to get a drink if it is hot.
This walk is good on a Saturday in the winter during the shooting season if your dog is nervous of gunshot, it is also fairly good underfoot. If you don't normally walk in large open areas, please be careful as your dog may get disorientated and lose you. There are no hazards such as fences, but there are plenty of deer.
At one point there is an amazing view to the south downs.
Once you have finished your walk, if you go back to Forest Green the Parrot pub is dog friendly
